Besas, Rev. Fr. Valiente (Val)
August 16, 1968 – April 27, 2014

On Sunday, April 27, 2014, Rev. Fr. Val Besas passed away at Battlefords Union Hospital in North Battleford, SK at the age of 45 years. At his ordination to the priesthood, Rev. Val Besas was described as a gentle man with “a deep love for God, which shows in his parish life and his strong desire to do the will of God. He loves people and people love him.”

The Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at St. Joseph Calasanctius Parish, 1942 – 98th Street, North Battleford. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Calasanctius at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Those who would like to make a donation in memory of Fr.
