Lawrence Dafoe
September 5, 1930 – May 14, 2014

It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Lawrence Dafoe announces his passing on May 14, 2014 at the age of 83. Lawrence was born in Debden, SK on September 5, 1930 to Jenny and Nathan Dafoe. He married Margaret Melrose Crowther on June 17, 1957 and to this union 3 children were born Michael, Larry and Sharon. Lawrence was predeceased by his son Michael Dafoe; brother Calvin Dafoe; sisters Violet Marshall and Ethal Dafoe; as well as his parents Nathan and Jenny Dafoe. Lawrence leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his wife Melrose of 56 years; his daughter Sharon (Curtis) Ouellette; son Larry Dafoe; two granddaughters that meant the world to him Jenna (Kris) Kaglea and Chayla Ouellette (Lyle McKay); his brothers Clarence (Peggy) Dafoe, George Dafoe and Roy Dafoe; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. At Lawrence’s request no service will be held. Donations in his memory can be made to the Jehovahs Witness Kingdom Hall, 683 – 7th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0S7.
