JENIC – Mrs. Ruth, late of Prince Albert passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16th, 2014 at the Herb Basset Home in Prince Albert. Left to cherish her memory are her loving family, her son Desmond (Bonnie) Jenic and foster daughter Debbie (Roland) Vermette; her grandchildren, Dwayne (Gwen) Edwards, Lori Edwards and Barbara and Darla-Rae Jenic; six great grandchildren; sisters, Delphine Ruzkowski and Esther (Calvin) Beddome; and one brother, Gerald (Shirley) Campbell. She was predeceased by her husband Max; her daughter Shirley Edwards; four sisters; five brothers-in-law; and her parents. Ruth grew up in the Stanleyville District with her seven siblings. She married Mac Jenic. They farmed along with her brother- in- law James through the depression years. She loved her sports, playing ball, dancing and cooking. She was a loving Mom with a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor and no one ever left her home hungry. She passed away peacefully with family at her side. The Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 1:00 pm from Prince Albert Memorial Gardens with Mr. Bob Kessler officiating.
