The family of Eunice Burkosky are saddened to announce her passing on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the age of 86. She was born on February 29, 1928 in Moose Jaw, SK to Alfred and Elizabeth Dodge. She was married for 67 years to the love of her life Kenneth Burkosky. Eunice loved music, sang in the Sweet Adelines and the Jill Pines Quartet. She also loved yellow flowers, birds, the lake, playing the organ, playing bridge and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all. Eunice is survived by her husband Kenneth Burkosky; her son Kenneth Jr; her daughter Karen; her granddaughter Alexis; her sisters Joyce (Neville) Piggott and Dorothy (Don) Sykes; her brother Ed (Peggy) Dodge and her brother-in-law Ray (Kim) Hunter. She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Elizabeth Dodge; her sisters Audrey (John) Carmichael, Irene (Roy) Hoggard and Betty Hunter. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Roque Concepcion. Interment will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
