Lola Vivian Bland
March 23, 1928 – June 23, 2014
The family of Lola Vivian Bland (nee Tinkess) announces her passing on June 23, 2014 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 86 years. Lola lived in Prince Albert from 1966 – 2013 and was an active member of various volunteer groups, as well as the Sharp Needles Embroiderers Guild, Nisbet United Church Women’s Group and Wesley United Church. Lola is survived by her children: Ron (Sandra), Gordon (Lorna) and June (Wayne) Cubbon; her grandchildren: Erin, Keely, Braden and Brynn; and her brother: Bob (Kay) Tinkess. Lola was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years: Edward and her siblings: Mary, Dorothy, Bill and George. A Celebration of Lola’s Life will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 – 2:00 pm at Wesley United Church 65 11 St E, Prince Albert, S. Lola's family would like to thank the staff of St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the wonderful care they gave our mom.
