With sadness the family of Debra Ann Ahenakew, late of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, announce her peacefully passing on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the age of 58 years. Debra was born on September 1, 1955 on Mistawasis First Nation to Viola and Harvey Peekeekoot. The Wake Service for Debra will commence on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Band Hall with Rev. Marjorie Hyman officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery on Ahtahkakoop F.N.
