Dorothy Mah, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away on August 13, 2014 in Kinistino, SK at the age of 94 years. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her brother Ray Woodley of Edmonton, AB, her sisters-in-law Doreen Woodley and Lena Woodley, as well as many nieces nephews and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Freddie Mah in 1977, her parents Albert & Ethel Woodley, her sister Joyce Ellison, her brothers: Jack Woodley, Fred Woodley and Colin Woodley, her sisters-in-law Ruth Woodley and Betty Woodley and her brother-in-law Everett Ellison. Dorothy was born in Dunnington, England on March 8, 1920. Her family came to Canada in 1926 and farmed in the Wheatly School District, Spruce Home, SK. In 1943, she married Freddie Mah in Prince Albert, SK. He passed away in 1977. In 1985 Dorothy moved to Northcott Manor until 2010, when she moved to Nelson Care Home, until her final months she spent at the Victoria Hospital and days at the Jubilee Lodge, Kinistino, SK. Dorothy was an avid reader and very knowledgeable about the world news, she loved to do all kinds of needlework, sing and yodel. Her strong love and faith in God never wavered. Thank you for the care, compassion and respect shown to her at Nelson Care Home in Prince Albert, Victoria Hospital Staff and the Kinistino Jubilee Lodge Staff. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 104-2301 Avenue C North, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5Z5. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 – 10:00 am, MacKenzie Chapel, 130 9th St E, Prince Albert, SK. Interment to follow at the South Hill Cemetery, Prince Albert, SK.
