Allan Sandberg (Leslie Grant Sandberg)
March 31, 1956 – August 16, 2014

Allan Sandberg (Leslie Grant Sandberg) age 58 years of Prince Albert, SK, passed away suddenly at his home on August 16, 2014. Les was born in Kinistino, SK, on March 31, 1956. He is survived by his mother Jo Sandberg of Saskatoon, SK, one brother Laurie (Donna) Sandberg of Island Lake, AB and two stepbrothers Royce (Laurie) Walker and Rick (Donna) Walker of Saskatoon, SK and their families. He was predeceased by his father Russell Sandberg and his stepmother Helen Sandberg. Les was educated in Melfort, SK and went to work at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK working in housekeeping until he was injured in a motor vehicle accident at the age of 21. Les was an avid sports fan and the Roughriders were his team. He was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion and our family wishes to thank them for allowing Les to be involved with this organization. A Graveside Service will be held at the Prince Albert Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 – 1:30 pm at the gravesite of his father Russell. Cremation has taken place and Les will be laid to rest with his father as per his wishes.
