May Evra Acorn

Acorn, May Evra (nee Graves). Born March 11, 1914, in Davis Saskatchewan; died Sept. 30, 2014 in Victoria BC. Lovingly remembered by her daughter and son in law Lynne and Ray Vickson, grandchildren Benjamin and Kristl, and great grandsons, Jasper and Niko. Auntie May was loved by many nieces, nephews, and extended family over 4 generations. Daughter of the late F T and Ellen Graves, predeceased by first husband Victor Puckett, second husband Arnold Acorn and brother Frank Graves. She was lately a resident of Sunrise of Victoria.
May had a long and interesting life; she lived in many cities in Canada and enjoyed wintering in Yuma AZ for many years. May travelled internationally well into her 90s. Her cheerful disposition was recognized and admired by all who met her. May was proud of reaching 100 years of age and enjoyed all the attention that gained her.
Cremation has taken place. May’s ashes will be interred, as she requested, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby BC, on Oct 24, 2014.
