ALCIDE FRANCOIS LARIVIERE
1948 – 2014

Alcide Lariviere, age 66, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in La Ronge, SK. His Wake Services were held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24 at Kitsaki Hall, La Ronge, continuing Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 at the Sakitawak Entertainment Centre, Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK. His Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27 from St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Ile-a-la-Crosse. Officiants were Reverend Beryl Whitecap at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, and lay presiders in Ile-a-la-Crosse. Alcide is survived by his loving family: his wife Annie Lariviere (nee Roberts); his children Leonard (Melinda), Larry (Vivian), Don (Lori), Kevin (Eileen); his special grandchildren Sage, Lari & Bucky; his special cousins Yvonne and Jimmy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins & all his friends he met throughout his lifetime. He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Roberts; his parents Prosper and Clementine (nee Caisse) Lariviere; his grandfather Harry Aubichon; his mother-in-law Catherine (nee Roberts) Morin; his father-in-law Isiah Roberts; his brother-in-law
Amos Roberts. Alcide was born Monday, June 21, 1948 in Ile-a-la-Crosse. Interment took place in Ile-a-la Crosse Cemetery.
