With heavy hearts the family of Lance Darryl Thomas, late of Big River First Nation, sadly announce his sudden passing on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at the young age of 26 years. The Wake Services for Lance will commence on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service for Lance will be on Thurs. Oct. 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Band Hall, and interment will be in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery. Lance is lovingly remembered by: His special friend, Salita Harper of Onion Lake FN; His son and daughter, Thomas and Sasha Harper; His parents: ~ Leona Thomas & Leonard McAdam of Big River FN; His brothers and sister: ~ Leonard (Rebecca) Thomas of Big River FN; ~ Ricky (Andrea Stonechild) Thomas of Saskatoon; ~ Larry (Ally) Thomas of Meadow Lake; ~ Valerie Thomas of Big River FN ; His best friends: Randy McAdam, Brian McAdam, Lance Pahtaykan, Shawn Joseph & Benjamin Bradfield; His grandparents: ~ Freda McAdam of Big River FN; ~ Mary T Rabbitskin of Stoney Lake; ~ Andrew & Bernice Lewis; Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. He is predeceased by: His unborn son in October 2013; His brother, William Thomas; His cousin, William John Rabbitskin; His uncle, Dennis Masuskapoe; His grandparents: Alexander McAdam, Joseph Rabbitskin ; Mary Rose Thomas & Jack Thomas; His great grandparents: John & Elmire Lewis; Tom Thomas & Nora Thomas; His niece, Iesha Rabbitskin.
