Elsie Astrid Drummond

Elsie Astrid Drummond (nee Haugerud) was born August 7, 1945 in Kinistino, Saskatchewan to parents Elmer and Astrid Haugerud. Elsie passed away in Melfort, Saskatchewan on October 26, 2014 at the age of 69 years.
Elsie worked at Sears in Medicine Hat, Alberta as a switchboard operator and at the family owned business Cannon’s Drive Inn in Bow Island, Alberta with Bud and her children. She loved camping, curling, animals, and listening to Elvis.
Elsie was predeceased by her soul mate Bud Drummond and her parents Elmer and Astrid.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Guy, Dennis and Shelley, her sister Elaine, her brothers Lloyd, Allen and Dale. She also leaves eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Elsie was held from the Fedusiak Funeral Chapel, Melfort, SK on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Dave MacPherson officiating. The eulogy was given by Norman Drummond and the honorary pallbearers were considered to be “All Who Knew & Loved Elsie”
The interment followed in the Bow Island Cemetery, Bow Island, AB on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.
