Melvin Clarence “Mitsi” Moosehunter, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK passed away on November 18, 2014 in Sturgeon Lake, SK at the age of 60 years. Clarence will be lovingly remembered by his common-law wife: Debbie Longjohn; his daughters: Charmaine, Colleen and Christina; his step-daughters: Larissa and Alice Longjohn; Mother of his children: Cora Gamble; his daughter: Doreen (Justin) Denego; his sons: Clayton Almightyvoice (Violet), Jason (Elsie) and Tyrone (Kyla); his parents: Lloyd and Theresa Moosehunter; his sisters: Judy (Jeff) Laliberte, Irene (Kelly) Turner, Rosella Moosehunter and Debra (Ronnie) Bear; his brothers: Edwin (Gloria), Harvey, Danny (Bev), Malcolm (Maria), Bernard (Jackie) and Frank (Barb) Badger; his 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; his God Child: Ryan Daniels Jr; his in-laws: James & Sylvia Longjohn; as well as numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Clarence was predeceased by: his brothers: Leslie and Sidney; his grandparents: Antoine Vallee & Bernadette Rabbitskin and Collin (Selina) Moosehunter; other family members, relatives and friends. A wake will be commencing Wednesday November 19, 2014, Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake, SK. Funeral Mass will be held Friday November 21, 2014 – 11:00 am, Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake, SK. Interment to follow at West Central Cemetery, Sturgeon Lake, SK.
