Judy From passed away peacefully at her home in Melfort, Saskatchewan on November 17, 2014 at the age of 64. Judy was born on July 22, 1950 to parents Fred and Alfreda Feltham in Kamloops, British Columbia. She moved to Saskatchewan in July 1968 in what was initially a short holiday. Judy was blessed with her two daughters, Tammy and Trina and was a dedicated and caring mother.
Earl Stasiuk and Judy made a life together in the mid 80’s and blended their families together with Earl’s children, Sheri and Scot. When the children were younger, many summer days were spend at the lake waterskiing and camping. She was proud of and cherished her nine grandchildren and bragged about them often.
Judy and Earl could often be found together working various jobs and enjoying many of the same interests.
Though she worked several jobs throughout the years, she considered Parkland Place to be her second home. Her work with residents there held a special place in her heart and found great pleasure in taking care of them. She used to say,” I’m the luckiest person in the world, look how many Grandmas I have”. The friendships she developed there would prove to be lifelong and meaningful. Her caring and compassion for the residents often extended beyond work schedule, as she would help others in need, often anonymously.
Judy is survived by her other half, Earl Stasiuk, her daughter Trina (Jesse) Merilees and grandchildren Angel and Kaden, son-in-law Stacey Kun and grandsons Eric and Dylan; her stepson Scot (Andrea) Stasiuk and children Lillian and Sophia; her step daughter Sheri (Vince) Sopczak and triplets, MacKenna, Tashia and Kailyn; her sister Barb (John) Dohl; nieces Leah, Ashley, Rhonda, Paula, and Tasha; nephews Christopher, Robert, Kenneth, and Clifford, as well as many other extended family and friends. Judy was predeceased by Alfreda Feltham (mother), Irene (Wilf) Boulanger (sister), Tammy Kun (daughter), and Gordon (brother).
