Vincent Joseph Breker, age 58, passed away peacefully in Regina with family at his side on December 5, 2014. Born August 10, 1956, Vince was predeceased by his father Al, and is survived by his mother Doris, brothers James (Shirley), Lawrence (Ross), and sister Donna Holaday (Kerry); niece Jill, nephews Evan (Michelle and their son Isaac), Brendan (Andrea), and Jared.
Vince lived in Englefeld, SK until the age of 7, after which the family moved to Watson, SK where he completed his schooling.
Vince overcame many serious health issues during his life, starting at the age of 3, significant enough to bring him near death 5 times. Vince was passionate about his accounting and computer technology work at Kindersley Transport, Ted Henson Pontiac, Wheaton Pontiac, and Reynolds and Reynolds, where he installed computer hardware and software for auto dealers across Western Canada.
After 1990, poor health forced him to end his work career. He then began his seasonal lifestyle of spending summers at Greenwater Lake. He enjoyed socializing among the coffee row crowd and visiting fellow campers. He spent his winters in Regina where some of his favorite pastimes were spent enjoying friends over coffee at Robins and seeking out bargains at Costco.
Vince always said, “There’s always somebody worse off than me”.
So, in remembrance of Vince…look on the bright side!
