Marguerite Guillet

It is with great sadness that the family of Marguerite Guillet announce her passing at the Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her children: Dorina (Terry) Mareschal, Gerald (Linda) Guillet, Lucille (Mike) Pylypchuk, Bob (Etta) Guillet, Maurice (Andrea) Guillet and Mark (Jan) Guillet; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, her siblings: Angeline, Beatrice, Armand, Lawrence, Lorette, Clairice and Ernest; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents Leon and Doria (Lacoursiere) Poitras, her husband Clement in 1986, her grandson André Guillet and her sister Bernadette LaPrairie. Marguerite was born April 1, 1926 in Marcelin, SK She lived in Domremy until 2006 when she moved to Prince Albert. Marguerite was very active with the church, senior’s group and many more community groups. Her family will always treasure the fond memories of wonderful family gatherings over many decades which made her so special. We wish to thank her for the love, devotion, kindness, strength and courage she displayed on so many occasions over the years. The Prayer Vigil will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Both Services will be held at the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Domremy with Rev. Fr. Ramel Macapala as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marguerite may be directed to the Canadian cancer Society.
