Later, while working in the Emma Lake area, she met Edmond Simon and they were married in 1941. They homesteaded in the Tweedsmuir district. In 1954, they moved to Dawson Creek, BC. Margaret and Edmond had no children. A few years after Edmond’s passing, she returned to Prince Albert. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Edmond; her mother and father; her two brothers Samuel and Robert; her sister Mary Kelly. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Harold’s IGA, neighbours on 25th Street, Pineland Home Care, Margaret’s doctors, and all the staff on the 5th Floor of the Victoria Hospital. Those wishing to make a donation in Margaret’s memory are invited to do so to the Victoria Hospital Foundation. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 2 at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Ted Hicks officiating.
