BALON, Lena passed away at her home on January 2, 2015 at the age of 99 years old in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The Prayer Service will be held at the Chapel of Kushneryk Funeral Service in Wakaw on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be held at the Sts Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Yellow Creek on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Both Services will be led by Rev. Fr. Patrick Powalinsky. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery at Tarnopol. Donation in memory of Lena may be directed to the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery Fund.
