1951 – 2015
Mr. Allen Works of Saskatoon Sk. passed away suddenly on January 10, 2015. Allen was born on November 28, 1951 in Melfort Sk. He spent the majority of his life as a journeyman mechanic and a long haul truck driver. Allen was known as “Mr. Fix-It” and never met an engine he couldn’t repair. Allen was predeceased by his grandparents, father Peter, brothers William and Peter as well as numerous other relatives. He leaves to mourn his wife Angie, mother Olive, brother Russell, sisters; Mary (Richard), Sharon, Bonnie, Donna (Don), and Connie, nephews; Jay Dee, William, Trevor and Bobby (Deanna), nieces; Shannon (Mike), Caitlin, Rachel, Ruby, Christine and Pamela, great nieces; Taylor, Brianna, Dakota, Kitanna, great nephew Caison and numerous other relatives and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Weldon Auditorium in Weldon Sk. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saskatoon Friendship Inn, 619 Ave. 20th St. West, Saskatoon Sk. S7M 0X8. Condolences may be sent to mail@saskatoonfuneralhome.com.
