The family of Dorothy Ursaki is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Jan 19, 2015 at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon; she passed away very peacefully with her family at her bedside. She was born in Prince Albert on January 18, 1932 the only child of James and Beatrice Massey. Married in 1952, Dorothy and Paul enjoyed 62 years of marriage during which they loved square dancing (in younger years), berry picking, golfing, playing cards, and shopping. But more than anything, Dorothy cherished the company of her family. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Paul; her son Grant; her son Calvin (MaryLynn Kemp); her daughter Coral (David) Dallman; her son Barry; her grandchildren Shaylyn (Dan) Hayduk, Brayden Ursaki, Caitlyn Ursaki, Trevor Dallman (Debs Burke), Jason Dallman, Desiree Dallman, and Karmyn Ursaki; her great grandchildren Tysene Ursaki, Peter and Emma Hayduk; her brother in law Bill McLavish and numerous cousins and friends Dorothy was predeceased by her infant daughter Rene Carol; her mother and father, Beatrice and James Massey; her mother in law and father in law Catherine and Albert Ursaki; her sister in law Kathleen McLavish and 3 infant brothers. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at St. George’s Anglican Church, 1104- 4th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Archdeacon Andrew Hoskin officiating. Memorial donations in Dorothy’s memory may be directed to the SPCA Box 1832 Prince Albert, SK S6V 6J9. The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude for the nurses and staff at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Level 5 at St. Pauls Hospital, Dr. J. Spellay and Dr. G. Surkan for their excellent care and compassion shown to Dorothy and family throughout her hospitalizations.
