It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mother, Laura Lander Harley. Laura was born May 27, 1932 to Edward and Dorothy Worden. She grew up on the family farm at Somme, and would often share wonderful memories and stories of her childhood to her family. She met Gerald Harley, fell in love and they were married on July 22, 1954. To this union were born three daughters; Deanie, Lorie and Tanis. Laura was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Gerald, her parents Edward and Dorothy Worden, and great grandson Jakob. She is survived by her daughter Deanie (Garry Gravelle), and sons Sean, Michael and Kyle; daughter Lorie, and her children Dedreha, Kaylee and Justin; daughter Tanis (Barrie) Jung and their children Devin and Kendra; 11 great grandchildren Tavish, Noah, Griffin, Ashtyn, Anikka, Harper, Breez, Klear, Ki, Kenna, Kennan; her sisters Myrta (Robert) Harley and Lila (Walter) Demsys. Laura also leaves behind many extended family and numerous friends. “Motherhood – all love begins and ends there.”
