Isobel Silver

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Isobel Lorena Silver (nee Brown) on February 11, 2015 at Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert, SK at the age of 89. Isobel was born on July 5, 1925 in Ottawa, Ontario. She married Elmer Silver in 1943 and moved to the Colleston district where she lived until 2012, she then moved to the Good Shepherd Villas until her passing. Isobel is survived by her family: Judy (Ernie) Krip, Bill Silver, Bob (Donna) Silver, son-in-laws Gottfried Gentek and Art Spademan; her grandchildren, Alisa Carpenter, Ken Gentek, Karin Heaney, Shelley Cannon, Brent Spademan, Kelley Spademan, Rob Spademan, Elaine Jacques, Rhonda Deschene, Lori Dupuis, Wendy Krip, Pam Silver, Bonnie Malenfant, Billy Silver, Kerri Silver, Trish Paul, Dwight Silver, Nicole Knecht-Keller, and Shawn Silver as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Isobel was predeceased by her husband Elmer, her daughters Suzanne Gentek and Gaye Spademan: her daughter-in-law Yvonne Silver, her parents James and Annie Brown, siblings Pearl, Hilda, Elsie, Billy, Gordon and Peggy and Elmer’s family. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Villas and staff for their excellent care of Isobel during her stay there. As well as the staff in emergency and on the 6th floor at the Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Colleston Cemetery Fund.
