Wake Service was held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Kininahk Friendship Centre, La Ronge, SK, and and continued on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Sturgeon Lake Band Hall. Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 from Sturgeon Lake Band Hall (??), Sturgeon Lake, SK. Officiant was Reverend Samuel Halkett. Kennidy is survived by her loving family: her parents Curtis and Jean (nee Halkett) Badger; her sister Trinity Badger; her half-brothers Craig Merasty, Curtis Ethan Joseph; her half-sisters Megan Merasty, Latasha Dayleene Ross; her grandparents Victoria Hunt, Howard Badger (Marilyn Fiddler); her uncles and aunts Richard (Theresa) Halkett, Monique Halkett, Bonnie Halkett, Roger (Lana) Halkett, Billy Halkett, Gregory Halkett, Jamie Hunt, Joe (Michelle) Hunt, Thomas (Annie) Hunt, Charles (Corrine) Hunt, Norma Hunt, Stephanie Hunt, Samantha (James) Halkett, Janine Hewison, Tyler Badger, Devon Lee Badger, Caroline Naytowhow, Tyra Badger; her godparents Candida Bourassa, Aristide Bourassa, Bonnie Halkett; numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Joseph Hunt; her grandmother Marilyn Badger; her uncle Timothy Hunt; her aunt Belinda Halkett; her great uncles Fred Badger, Glen Badger, Henry (Geraldine) Badger, Jacob (Pauline) Badger; her great grandparents Leo and Josephine Badger, Napoleon and Monique Caisse.
