They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary three years ago at the Nordale Hall. Eunice was a devoted mother to Theresa Robertson, Janet Benvenuti (Todd Hunter), Sandra (Darcy) Hing and Christopher (Leanne Gunderson) Robertson.
She was a loving grandma to Brittany, Megan, Rochelle, Carla and Owen Hing; Rebecca, Nicholas, Matthew, Marissa, Brody and Abigail Benvenuti; and Keanna, Allysa and Ryder Robertson. Eunice was also survived by her brothers Edward (Christine) Vandale, Roger (Lana) Vandale, Phillip (Nancy) Vandale; her sisters Joyce Rosati, Ruth (Julien) Fiddler and Faye Vandale; her brother-in-law James Robertson; sisters-in-law Ethel Gee, Leona Holland, Mary Fietz, Vicky (Bev) Gee.

Mom and Dad resided in Prince Albert after their marriage. Barry was not only her husband but her best friend. They did everything together and enjoyed each other’s company. They would travel together to dog races or to hockey games for their grandkids. Mom had several hobbies like knitting, playing bingo and collecting Elvis items or salt-and-pepper shakers, having well over 200 sets of these. Mom worked as a matron for the Prince Albert City Police and later as a supervisor at St. Michael’s School until her illness prevented her from working. She was a brownie/girl guide leader, a member of Local 269 and the Granny’s group. Mom did a lot of volunteering with bingos, catering for funerals, looking after different local functions and she worked at Ed’s Inn Catering. Mom was proud of all her children and grandchildren and would support them or help them however she could.
Mom loved her birds and her dog EP (Elvis Presley). On a calm summer night you could be sure to find her sitting outside by her fire for hours. She enjoyed being outside winter or summer. Mom will be missed by all but when you think of her, do it with a smile, not tears. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 2 at River Park Memorial Chapel with Sister Renée Buliard officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 3 from St. Michael Roman Catholic Church by Father Travis Myrheim. Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens following the service. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director
