Christopher Glen Custer, age 40 years, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Deschambault Lake, SK.  He was born on Thursday, November 7, 1974 in Flin Flon, MB.  Wake Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Richard Custer officiating; on Wednesday, March 18 at the home of Viola Ballantyne, Deschambault Lake; and Thursday, March 19 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Deschambault Lake.  The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church.  Officiants were Reverend Richard Custer, Mr. Elias Ballantyne, and Reverend Rachel Custer.
Christopher is survived by his loving family: his wife Viola Ballantyne; his children Taralyn (Jon), Francine (Zach), Daniel C. and Baby Isaac Custer; his grandchildren Vivian Ratt-Custer, Zavrin Ballantyne, Jonathon Ratt Jr, Zariah Ballantyne, Jerome McKay, Jacob, Jenika McKay; his special niece Erin McKay; his mother Shirley Ballantyne; his father George Custer; his adopted parent Harriet J. Ballantyne; his grandparent Madeline Custer; his siblings Wanda Charles, Dawn Custer, Lisa (Mark) Custer, Sheryl (Robert) Beatty, Albert Ballantyne, Nelson (Angie) Ballantyne, James (Gigi) Ballantyne, Rosie Charles, Ida, Russell Ballantyne; his parents-in-law Larry and Eliza Ballantyne; his in-laws Archie Ballantyne, Lorna (Cameron), Julie Ballantyne, Vance Ballantyne, Naomi, Danielle (Ronald) Ballantyne, Rhoda, Tara Ballantyne; his nieces and nephews Angel, Lester, Stanley, Sheena, Jason, Royce, Benny, Darrell Jr, Cheryl, Cherish, Wayne, Sherice; his friends Archie, Vance, Dwayne R. He was predeceased by: his children – his twins Hart Nowell and Michael James Custer, his daughter Paris Krista Sheryl Custer, his infant Baby Custer, his son Avrin Christopher Owen Ballantyne; his siblings Kimberly Custer, Stanley Custer, Lester Custer; his grandparents Eli Custer, Susan Custer, Louie Custer, Solomon Custer, Rod Morin; his adopted Dad Stanley Ballantyne Sr.; his nieces and nephews Kristie P. Ballantyne, Wayne Ballantyne, Harry E. J. Custer, Cst. Timothy Ballantyne, Lynette Linklater; his in-laws Michael Ballantyne, Henry E. Sr., Frances Ballantyne; his godparents Elizabeth Charles, Stanley Bear; his friend Terrance Dorion. 
Interment took place at Robertson’s Island, Deschambault Lake, SK.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
