Malachi Charles, age 85 years, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Stanley Mission, SK.  He was born on Thursday, November 21, 1929 in Stanley Mission.  A Wake Service was held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission.  The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25 from Holy Trinity Anglican Church.  Officiants were Reverend Richard Custer and Reverend Morris McKenzie.  Malachi is survived by his loving family: his daughter Christina (Alex) Roberts; his stepson John (Ann) Ballantyne; his grandchildren Leslie McKenzie, Christine (Paul) Charles, Tracey McKenzie, Olivia Ballantyne, Stewart Ballantyne; his great grandchildren Paul, Pauline, Paula and Paulette Charles, Brady, Shanay and Austin Ballantyne; his great great grandchildren Jeannie Roberts, Nelly Roberts, Eliza Charles; his godson Moses McKenzie; his sisters Marjorie McKenzie and Annie McKenzie; his brother Edward Charles; his son-in-law James McKenzie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by: his wife Francis Grace (nee Ballantyne) Charles; his daughter Jean Eliza McKenzie; his parents Horace and Bella Charles; his step sister Lizzie McLeod; his brothers-in-law Daniel McKenzie, William McKenzie, William Ballantyne, Charlie Ballantyne John D. Ballantyne, Edward Beatty Jr and Abraham Cook; his sisters-in-law Alice Cook, Martha Beatty.  Interment took place in Stanley Mission Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Donald M.
