Louisa Therése Merasty, age 66, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Saskatoon, SK.  She was born on Sunday, September 5, 1948, in The Pas, MB.  A Prayer Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating.  Wake Services were held Wednesday, June 17 at Marie Rose Caribou’s Home in Sandy Bay, SK and on Thursday, June 18 at Gary Morin Memorial Hall, Sandy Bay.  Her Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 19 from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Bay.  Officiant was Father Susai Jesu.  Therése  is survived by her loving family: her husband Phillip Merasty; her children Peter, Leslie (Hilliard), Connie, Suzie (Allan), James, Crystal, Priscilla (Ronald), Ramsey Karen), Jason (Tamara), Curtis, Debbie (Morley); her siblings Veronique (Mack), Elizabeth (Cyril), Eliza (Steve), Hilliard, Charlie (Clara), Frances, David (Sarah), Mona, Eli (Brenna), Marie Rose (Frank), Jody (Nola); her special grandchildren Felicia, Cameron, Brittany, Dallen, Tamica, Trishelle, Davina; her 55 grandchildren; her 37 great-grandchildren; her godchildren Joe Caribou, Lionel Caribou, Holly Caribou, Josephine Caribou; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by: her parents Paul and Victoria Caribou; her sister Judy Caribou; her brother Charles W. Caribou; her son Curtis Merasty; her in-laws Moise and Suzette Merasty; her grandparents Etienne and Margaret McDonald; her uncles John McDonald, Louie McDonald, Eli Caribou, Joe Caribou Jr, Joe Caribou Sr and wife; her aunt Agnes Morin; her sisters-in-law Bertha Morin, Jean Caribou, Hariette and Art Ray; her nephews Roy Morin, Andrew McDonald; her nieces Melanie Dorion, Judy Caribou, Monica Caribou; her grandson Jermaine Merasty.  Interment took place in the Sandy Bay Cemetery, La Ronge.   Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Paula Olson, Funeral Director.
