Mrs. Barbara Pocha (Ford) passed away on July 31, 2015 with her family by her side. Barbara is survived by: her two daughters Sandra and Kimberly Buzit (Emil); her two granddaughters Stephanie and Heather (James) Buzit; her six great-grandchildren Kaiden, Harley and Maison Buzit, Hailey Watson, Jayce and Koby Richmond; her 12 foster grandchildren; her three sisters June Bacon, Elenor Stevens, Dorothy Chandler; her two special nieces Anita Roberts (Shawn) and Brenda Paul. She was predeceased by: her loving husband Laurent Pocha; her parents Tom and Ruby Ford; her sisters Margrette Finnestead, Ida Swain; her brothers Keith Ford, Tommy Ford. Barbara was born in Prince Albert on July 18, 1945 to Tom and Ruby Ford. She spent her younger years on the farm in Briarlea, and attended school in Briarlea East, Briarlea West and Wild Rose. In 1957, she moved to Prince Albert and attended King George, Connaught and Riverside Schools. Barbara`s passion was cooking. She worked at the Club Café, Avenue Hotel and Husky House. She taught cooking at the Halfway House, cooked at North Park Center, and finally retired from her head cook position at Pineview Terrace Lodge. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm , Tuesday, August 4 at River Park Memorial Chapel with Sister Renée Buliard officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 5 from St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 9 Street East, Prince Albert by Father Jim Kaptein. Interment will take place in the Garden of Christus, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
