Elsie Mae Fitkowski passed away peacefully on September 19, 2015 with her family at her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years Philip Fitkowski; her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Randall Stone; and her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Diane Robinson. Elsie has 5 grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan), Phoenix (Yohants), Brandon, Kyle (Kelsie), Danny; and 2 great grandsons, Dax and Avery. Elsie was born on February 21, 1939 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan and resided in Saskatchewan her entire life. She was predeceased by her first husband, Brian Robinson; her son Darcy Robinson; her parents, Mable and John Will; and her in-laws Philip and Amy Fitkowski. Elsie was employed at Sask Power for many years and went on to work at Sears Canada later on in life. She was a humanitarian who cared deeply for others. She was an Explorer Leader and taught Sunday School at Calvary United Church. Elsie put in countless hours of volunteer work and was once named Lioness of the Year for her commitment to others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service will be held to celebrate Elsie’s life at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to a Charity of Donor’s Choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
