George Eninew, Sr., age 73 years, of Deschambault Lake, SK passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015.  Prayer service was held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26 from River Park Memorial Chapel.  Wake services were held Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 28 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Deschambault Lake, SK.  Reverend Elias Ballantyne, Reverend Rachel Custer and Reverend Angus Sewap were the officiants. George Sr. is survived by his loving family:  his son George T. Eninew, Jr.; his daughter Eileen S. Ballantyne; his brothers Adam (Rosie) Eninew and Philip (Annie) Eninew; his sisters Jeannie Ballantyne, Minnie Sinclair, Theresa Acton and Frances (Leland) McCallum; his grandchildren Anita (Steven) Custer, Lester, Roy, April, Stephania, Katelyn, Pandra, Terrianna, Maverick, Neveah, Lilly, Don, Gregory, Colleen, Cora, Joseph, Sonya, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Melinda , Elsie, Alesia, Henry, Jr., Archie, Agatha, Keith, Trevor, Terry, Pauline, Holly, Cameron; his great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law Jeannie Custer; his brothers-in-law Elias (Suzette) Sewap, Joseph Rachel) Custer, Harry Custer, Thomas (Joan) Custer, Ernest (Mary) Custer; his sisters-in-law Victoria Eninew, Kate McKay, Margaret Highway and Susan (Peter) Ballantyne; his son-in-law Albert N. Ballantyne; his daughters-in-law Lorna Eninew and Dorothy Charles; his aunty Frances Linklater as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by:  his wife Elizabeth Eninew; his sons Albert, Henry, Adam; his daughters Frances, Melinda; his grandchildren Wayne Ballantyne, Baby Eninew; his parents Mathew and Amelia Eninew; his father-in-law Peter Custer; his daughter-in-law Hilda Eninew; his grandparents George Thomas and Angelique Eninew, Mary Ann Charles; his nieces and nephews Henry Ryan Halcrow, Judy Ann Ballantyne, Angela Eninew, Josephine Ballantyne, Roderick Eninew,  Dominic McKenzie, Ernest E. McKenzie, Robin Custer.  He was born on January 10, 1942 in Deschambault Lake, SK.  Interment took place in the Deschambault Lake Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306-764-2727 Colette Kadziolka, Funeral Director
