Felix Lucier

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Felix Louis Lucier on September 28, 2015, age 89 years. Felix was born on September 25, 1926 to Daniel and Mary Lucier in Demore, SK. As a young man Felix joined the army but before he was done his training the war ended. He met his wife Theresa Larose and they were blessed with four children. Felix moved to Prince Albert and worked in forestry for 15 years, later moving to Saskatoon and working on a vegetable farm. Upon retirement Felix moved back to Prince Albert to be closer to family. He was an awesome father with a great sense of humor. One of his greatest loves was wrestling! Felix will be cherished and remembered by his daughter Margaret (Denis) Lefebvre and their family Les and Joel; his son Dan (Terry) Lucier and family Rick, Ernest, and Dawn Masuskapoe; son-in-law Rejean Dufour and family Miranda, Kevin, Cindy, and Pamela; numerous great grandchildren; his sister Evelyn Saam and her family Margaret (Rick), Lawrence, Willy, Danny, Neil Saam, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Felix was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary Lucier; wife Theresa Larose; son George Lucier; daughter Linda Dufour; brothers Emile, Clement, and Alex; sister Rosine St. Germaine; and sister- in-law Helen Lucier. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, October 2, 2015 at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Parish, 1505- 13th Street West Prince Albert, SK with Father Michael Fahlman officiating. Interment will follow in Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in Felix’s memory may be directed to the Share a Meal Food Bank 64- 11th Street East Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
