Darrell Luke Merasty, age 27 years, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Saskatoon, SK.  He was born Saturday, January 10, 1987, in Flin Flon, MB.  A Memorial Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, with Officiant, Sister Renée Buliard.  Wake Services were held on Saturday, October 10 at the home of Rosetta Merasty and on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Garry Eagleheart Memorial Hall, Sandy Bay, SK.  Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 12 from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Bay, with Celebrant, Father Subhash Joseph.

Darrell is survived by his loving family: his mother Veronique Merasty; his stepfather Magloire Merasty; sisters Karen (Pierre), Myrna (Wilson), Colleen (Eric), Cindy; brothers Peter (Noreen), Paul (Shauna), Thomas, Kevin Ballantyne; his godson Jordaine Merasty; his father

Sidley Bear; Darrell’s sisters Freda, Lucy, Isabelle; his brothers Victor, Robert, Hilliard; all his nephews, nieces and cousins.  He was predeceased by: his grandparents Moise & Suzette Merasty, John McDonald, Louis McDonald, Paul & Victoria Caribou, Isabelle & Isaac Bear, Etienne & Margaret McDonald, Agnes Morin, Joe Caribou, Eli Caribou, Melanie Dionne, Maggie Caribou; his nephews Cory, John, four baby Merastys; his stepsister Krystal Bear; his uncle David Caribou; his aunties Therese Merasty, Judy Caribou; his cousins Leo Bear Jr., Andrew McDonald, Monica Caribou, Judy Caribou, Joe Michel, Rose Dorion, Melanie Dorion; his best friend Raven.  Interment took place in Sandy Bay Cemetery.   Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
