Jude Jephtha Ratt Sr. was born in Stanley Mission, SK, on Friday, November 26, 1948, and passed away in Stanley Mission, SK, on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Nancy (nee McKenzie) Ratt, his children, Susan McLeod, Melinda Ratt, James (Laura) Ratt, Jude (Francis) Ratt and Sally (Malachi) Ratt, his adopted children, Crystal Charles and Cyrilla (Arnold) Ballantyne, his grandchildren, Clarence (Stacey), Kelly, Cheyenne, Alexis, Shirley,Suzie (Josh), Erica, R.J., Nadine, James Jr., Joel, Sophie, Bella, Betty-Jo, Jason Jr., Ariana and Sheldon, his great grandchildren, Leah “Sweetie Pie”, Howie, Kaylynn “Little Botho”, Kajan “Baby Botho” and Xander, his sisters, Maggie Ross and Sally Charles, his sisters-in-law, Caroline (Walter), Jemima, Martha,Lillian (John), Shirley (Harry) and Phyllis, his brothers-in-law, Bob (Nancy), Charlie (Jean) and Calvin (Mary), his cousins, Obie Ratt, Solomon Ratt, Patrick Ratt, Jemima McLeod, Maggie Charles and Bella Todd, his godchildren, George McKenzie, Austin McLeod, Georgina Ratt and Joanne McKenzie, as well as numerous other relatives, godchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents,Norman and Bella (nee McKenzie) Ratt, his granddaughter, Crystal Alexis Ratt, his nephew, Howard “Howie” Ratt, numerous brothers and sisters in infancy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Interment will take place at Stanley Mission Cemetery.
