Zacharius “Zack” Malachi McKenzie was born on Thursday, December 5, 1935, at Iskwatikan Lake, Saskatchewan, and passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan, at the age of 79 years. Zack is survived by his loving family, his wife of 59 years, Flora (nee Charles) McKenzie, his daughters, Ida McKenzie, Bernice (Hector) Roberts and Annie Betsy (James) Crawford, his sons, James (Rita) McKenzie, Ahab McKenzie, Daniel (Mary) McKenzie, Benjamin (Irene) McKenzie, David (Patty) McKenzie, Rusty McKenzie, Jonas (Carrie) McKenzie and Ambrose McKenzie, his grandchildren, Melanie, Lori, Maxine, Randall, Malachi, Danny, Brennan, Carolyn, Caitlyn, Tristan, Ryan, Gordy, Robin, Kimberly, Kennedy, Nathan, Sienna, Matthew, Shawna, Daniel Jr., Dale, Geralyn, Brandon, William, Kendra, Tami, Tyler, Davey, Nikki, Jared, Jonah, Jamie, Ayden, Payton, Talon, Wolfe, Kenzie, Leandra, Kaiya, Anastasia and Reid, his special grandchildren, Brycen and Brody, his great-grandchildren, Layla, Todd, Tynisha, Charena, Charia, Zachary, Geronimo, Danny, Elaina, Rene, Jay Jay, Justin, Ahab, Justice, Anna, River, Rider, Boden, Kinsley, Braelyn, Kaydence, Levi, Hayden, Aubrey, Madisyn, Aurora and Eurick, his great-great-grandson, Gage, and his aunts and uncles from GMB, Colin McKenzie, Isaac McKenzie, Rosie Cook and Angelique McKenzie. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Loral Annette McKenzie-Crawford, his great-grandson, Gordon Charles, his great-great-grandsons, Ryder McKenzie and Patience Cook, his parents, Daniels and Betsy McKenzie, his brothers, John, Ahab, Benjamin and Thomas, his stepbrother, Jonas Hardlotte, his stepsister, Jeannie Clarke, his nephews, James D. “Big Jim” McKenzie, Howard Charles and Benjamin “Chakapes” McKenzie, his niece, Doreen Clarke, his sisters-in-law, Betsy Rachel McKenzie and Mary Anne McKenzie, and his brother-in-law, Thomas Charles.
