Gilbert Joseph Bear, late of Sandy Bay, SK passed away on November 12, 2015 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 68 years. Gilbert will be lovingly remembered by his children: Gwen, Gilbert, Debra, Ernestine, Shirley, Ian, Ron, and Lewis; his 28 grandchildren: Roberta, Reva, Rene, Kelvin Jr., Phillip, Naomi, Kelly, Corey, Zena, Sonya, Danielle, Cassie, Caylee, Clarke, Carmie, Gabriel, Keegan, Kellen, Dawson,  Andrea, Cheyenne, Tye, Angelina, Sam Jr., Mason, Arroll, Mason, and Daniel; his 19 great-grandchildren: Carissa Rose, Kaeanne, Rihanna, Alyssa, Dihanna, Keily, Wayde, Dean, Baby due January 2016, Kyra, Damien, Jospeh Jr., Jayda, Carmon, Cassia, Kevin Jr., Liam, Kaven, and Kimora; his sons-in-law: Kelvin McCallum Sr. and Dean McCallum; his sisters: Cecilia (Lawrence) Marge, Jean (Martin), Gloria, and Margie (Brian); his brothers: Emile, Michael, Fred (Nola), Maurice, Terry, and Leroy; his sisters-in-law: Sophie Garr (Ben), Irene Baker, Lillian Colomb (Gary), and Loretta Caribou (Ralph); and his brothers-in-law: Gabe Bighetty (Flora Jane), Elie Bighetty (Flora), Pat Bighetty (Jackie), Fred Bighetty, and Marcel McKay. Gilbert was predeceased by his wife: Marie Rose; his daughter: Mabel; his son: Gordie; his parents: JM & Helena Whitebear; his adoptive parents: Josette & John Louie Morin; his grandparents: Marie & Paul Whitebear; his step-grandfather: Raphael; his sister: Yvonne Aldcroft; his sister-in-law: Diane Hart; his brothers: Marcel & Samueal; his brothers-in-law: Lawrence, Joe, and Issac; his 4 siblings in infancy; his nieces: Marcella, Rose, Ashely, and Myrna; his nephews: James, Kelvin, and Mikey; his special friend: Rhonda Richard; and his friends: Lazar Morin and Hilliard Morin. The Wake Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, Residence of his granddaughter, Naomi Bear, Sandy Bay, SK and Sunday, November 15, 2015, Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Church Hall, Sandy Bay, SK. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 – 11:00 am, Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Bay, SK. Interment to follow in the Sandy Bay Cemetery, Sandy Bay, SK.
