Maureen Elizabeth Bear was born on Tuesday, December 7, 1976, in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, and passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at the age of 39 years. She is survived by her loving family, her partner, Gerald McAdam, her children, Savanna Herman, Tundra Bear, Destiny Bear, Kiera Herman and Kaden McAdam, her step-children, Jonah M., Jerri M. and Darci M., her mother, Henrietta Bear, her sisters, Beverly Thomas, Ruth Thomas and Marion (Symon) Morin, her brothers,     Leroy (Morningstar) Bear, Alvin (Laura) Bear, David (Christine) Bear, Fast (Patricia) Morin, Willie Morin, Adam Morin and Rudy (Danette) Thomas, and her grandma, Victoria Bear, as well as numerous aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandpa, Adam Bear, her sisters,      Susan Morin and Rhonda Herman, her great-grandparents, Helen (Johnny) Ninine, Josette and Angus, her uncle, Simon, her father-in-law, Frank McAdam, and her best friend, Julie Cook. Maureen’s prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015, at River Park Memorial Chapel in Prince Albert, Margaret Ferchuk officiating. A wake will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at East End Hall in Prince Albert, as well as on Saturday, December 19, 2015, and Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the Reindeer Lake School Gym in Southend. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2015, at Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Southend. Interment to follow at Southend Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, Don Moriarty, funeral director.
