With sadness in our hearts, our families have lost a great man. Our feelings filled with bittersweet joy knowing Dad, husband to Bernadette, father to Charlie (Glenda), Ron (Janine), Lucie (Rick), JoAnne, Aline (Jean) and Vivianne (Dave) and grandfather to 11, has been liberated from a long debilitating illness. We can rejoice that he is now at peace. His diverse career as a honey producer, seed pollination with leaf cutters and grain farming spanned over 60 years. Dad “loved” nature! A man for all seasons. His active lifestyle, hunting, cross country skiing, hiking and running gave him many years of health and joy. His thirst for knowledge allowed him to design, create and then build whatever he set his mind to. We will always remember the love he gave us. Although Mom has lost the love of her life after 62 years of togetherness, the memories shared will be forever cherished. Thanks, Dad! Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
