Carl Henry Nelson, age 59 years, of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016.  Carl is survived by his loving family:  his wife Carol (Friedhoff) Nelson; his Mother Judith “Toots” Nelson; his uncleThomas Knife; his sisters Anne Nelson, Helen Nelson McLemore, Barbra Nelson, Debbie Nelson; his step-children Candice Campbell and John Freidhoff; his grandchildren Christy Michelle, Brandon Campbell, Alora McLeod; his great-grandchildren Justice, John, Aaden; his nieces and nephews Raymond Nelson, Linelle Nelson, Zachary Nelson, Coty Nelson, Gabriel Nelson, Dakota Nelson, Joseph Cox, Alex Cox, Ellie Cox, Shiloh McLemore, Bobby McLemore, Ernie McLemore, Carla Anne Nelson, Tamara Peepetch, Seth Ponkey; his brother-in-law Stephen Cox.  He was predeceased by: his Aunty – Mom Edna Nelson (Edwin); his Grandfather and Grandmother Alex and Alice Beauchesne; his uncles Jeremy and Albert Beauchesne; his sister Elaine Rose Nelson; his brother Douglas John Nelson.  Carl was born on July 27, 1956 in Big River, SK.  Family and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so from noon until 4:00 pm, Wednesday, January 13 from River Park Memorial Chapel.  Wake services will be held Thursday, January 14 and Friday, January 15 from the Ahtahkakoop Band Hall.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 16 from Ahtahkakoop Band Hall.  Burton Ahenakew will be the officiant.  Interment will take place at a later date in The Garden of Memories, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306-764-2727, Carla Jesso, funeral director.
