The Mesluk Family is sad to announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother Annie on January 28, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She was born on a farm North of Wolseley, SK to Ukrainian Immigrant parents. At an early age mom moved to Regina to attend Reliance Business College where she started her career as a secretary. She was employed by the provincial Government Department of Agriculture starting in 1945. She then moved to land titles in North Battleford, SK, then to North Park Centre, Prince Albert, SK and finally Department of Tourism and Renewable resources. She retired in 1979 to enjoy family and home. Annie was predeceased by her parents: Steve and Katie (nee Chay) Bahan; her husband George in 1981; her sister Mary and brother-in-law George Desroches, her sister Eva and brother-in-law Ed Becker, her brother Joe and sister-in-law Mary Bahan and her brother John Bahan. Annie is survived by her son: Peter (Shelley) and grandchildren: Jeff (Dana) and Lisa (Josh) and great-grandson: Lewin Mesluk; her son: Michael (Julie Evans and her son Brock Evans); her nieces: Jackie, Denise, and Barbie Bahan; her nephew: Fred Bahan and great-nephew: Ryan Bahan all of Regina. The last 10 years were a challenge due to Dementia, but she was able to stay in her home right until the end.
