MARY FRANCES CHARLES

Mary Frances Charles was born on Wednesday, December 26, 2016, in Little Hills, SK, and passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the age of 87 years. Frances is survived by her loving family, her children, Jeannie, David and Matthew (Marianne) Charles, her grandchildren, Joseph, Jerome, Connie, Angela, Jason, Archie, Donna, Kelly, Mary, Moses, William, Lillian, Adam, Connor and Billy Jack, her son, Stan (Betsy) Charles, her step-daughters, Mary Jane (George) Ross and Margaret (Keith) Halkett, her brother, Charlie Ross, her brother-in-law, Miles (Anne) Charles, her sisters-in-law, Jean Charles, Elizabeth (Jerry) Charles and Frances (Ray) Charles, and her godchildren, Heather (Billy) Halkett, Rose Halkett, Chris (Jerry) Halkett, Frank Ross and Joe Venne, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilson J. Charles, her sons, Jerome and Stanley Charles, her grandsons, Corny Charles and David Charles Jr., her parents, Jeremiah and Jean (nee Roberts) Ross, her brothers, Solomon, Stanley and John Ross, her sisters, Caroline, Charlotte and Susan Ross and Mary Ann (nee Ross) Roberts, and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Emily Ross, Mary Ann Ross, Caroline Ross, Thompson and Norah Venne, Colin and Cathy Charles, Kaz and Ida Parada, Adam and Bella Charles, Edward Charles, Stanley Charles and Fred Charles. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Charlie Halkett Memorial Hall in Hall Lake, SK, and continued on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
