With great sadness the family of James Netmaker announce that he passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 73 years. James was born on December 4, 1942 to Margaret Merasty & Simon Netmaker. James is lovingly survived by his children, Margaret (Elvis) Lachance of Big River First Nation; Hubert Netmaker of Big River First Nation; Brenda Netmaker of Prince Albert; Debbie Netmaker of Muskoday FN; Marlene (James Smith) Netmaker of Muskoday FN; Rhonda Netmaker of Loon Lake; Jennifer Netmaker of Big River First Nation; Richard Netmaker of Saskatoon; Pauline (Sunshine) Dreaver Netmaker of Prince Albert; his siblings, Martin Netmaker (Maryann Bear); Mary R Netmaker; George (Nancy) Netmaker; Liza Lachance; Jerry (Virginia) Netmaker; and Lawrence (Karen) Netmaker; as well as numerous grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. James was predeceased by his parents Simon and Margaret Netmaker; his married wife Philomene Netmaker; his special friend Annette Netmaker; his son Keith Netmaker; his daughter Mary Linda Rabbitskin; his grandson Daniel George Netmaker; grandparents Benjamin (Flora) Netmaker; daughter in-law Rose Lachance Morin; his sisters in-law, Josephine Rabbitskin & Alvina Rabbitskin; his brothers in-law, Vital Lachance, Norbert Rabbitskin, George Rabbitskin, and Arthur Rabbitskin.Service for James will commence at 2:00pm on Friday, March 24, 2016 at the Big River First Nation Band Hall.The Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Big River First Nation Band Hall.
