Zaleschuk- Clementine “Clem” Anne (nee Lubyk) late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away peacefully a few days after her 78th birthday following a lengthy battle with severe depression and other health issues. Clementine was born on March 20, 1938 in the Samburg district, SK, to Annie and William Lubyk. She worked a total of 37 years for Canada Safeway in Calgary and Prince Albert until retiring in 2001. Clem enjoyed making cookies, spending time with her many friends playing Yatzee, and making perogies and holobchi. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, many friends and relatives. Clem leaves to mourn her passing her beloved daughter Melody and grand kitty Zoe of Calgary, AB; her sisters Alice, Eve, and Mary; her brothers Harry and Paul; as well as numerous nieces’, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband John in October of 2003, her parents, grandparents, brothers Roman, Tony, and Peter, beloved pets Mickey, Trixie and grand kitty Cydney. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Georges Ukrainian Catholic Church, 752-14th Street West Prince Albert, SK with Father Vasyl Kravchuk and Father Deacon Harrold Salahub officiating. A private family interment will follow at the South Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations in Clem’s memory may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Ave Unit 26 Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9, Mental Health Association, 1322 Central Ave, Prince Albert, SK S6V 4W3, or the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 North Industrial Dr Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T1 or your local Humane Society.
