With broken hearts, the family of Rachel Lynn Wolfe, late of Saskatoon, formerly of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation announce her passing on March 30, 2016 in the Royal University Hospital at the age of 37 years old. The Wake Service for Rachel commenced on April 2, 2016 at 9:30 p.m. in the Muskeg lake Cree Nation School Gym. The Funeral Service took place on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the School Gym, interment was in the Muskeg Lake First Nation Cemetery. Rachel is lovingly survived by her parents, Virginia (Frankie) Greyeyes; Harvey (Norma) Lafond; her grandfather, James (Keno) Wolfe; her children, Roland Wolfe, Dante Arcand, Donovan Wolfe, Kassidy Wolfe; her step daughter Raven Daschner; her grandson, Dallin Head; her partner Ray Daschner; her god parents, Gabe & Darlene Longneck; her brothers and sisters, Stewart Greyeyes, Natalie Keewatin, Steven (Jody) Greyeyes, Andrea (Justin) Sandy, Norma (Aaron) Bouvier, Margaret Lafond, Matthew Lafond, Jody Johnston, Patrick (Michelle) Arcand, Dennis Arcand, Barb Arcand; her very special cousins / sisters / brothers, Dissa Wolfe, Larissa Wolfe, Kelly Wolfe, Amanda Wolfe, Shawna Wolfe, Aleshya Ledoux, Roxanne Eagle, Barb Venne, Leanne Sanderson, Nelson Wolfe. Rachel adored all of her nieces and nephews as they were all “Auntie Ray’s Babies”. Rachel was predeceased by her grandmother Georgina Wolfe (Longneck); her grandparents, Helen and Albert Lafond; her cousins, Karina Wolfe, Curtis Lafond, Jordan Leavey Lafond; her uncle James Wolfe Jr. Active pallbearers were Floyd Greyeyes, Russell Lafond, Cody Sanderson, Devon Eagle, Dustin York, Ryan Longneck, Gilly Ledoux, and Brandon Thomas.
