It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Garry Bain. He now rests peacefully without pain at the side of the Lord. Garry passed away April 11, 2016 at the age of 77. Garry was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 8, 1939. He grew up in the Henribourg/Spruce Home area. In his early years, he ventured to Moose Jaw to take carpentry courses. He then moved to Prince Albert and started work in the construction industry starting up his own company “Garry Bain Construction” in 1973. He was a sought after carpenter with his eye for detail – the “stair man”. Garry loved hockey. He was a dedicated Prince Albert Raiders fan holding season tickets for over 45 years and billeting players for 10 years. His outstanding BBQ skills fed the Players and his Family well. Garry always enjoyed a good bbq with family and friends, that was the perfect night for him. Garry was a kind simple man with a hilarious sense of humour. He could make anyone smile. This world truly lost an angel with a heart of gold.
