Perry Jackie Bird was born on Friday, August 1, 1986, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the age of 29 years. Perry is survived by his loving family, his companion, Suzette Cook, his children, Sunshine Cook, Nadine Bird, Skyler Bird and Keisha Bird, his parents, Roderick and Judy (nee Bird) Roberts, his grandparents, Grace and Isiah Roberts and Walter Bird, his great-grandmother, Rosie Cook, his brother and sisters, Roderick Bird (Stephanie Roberts), Timothy McLeod, Yollanda Roberts, Toya Roberts and Adele Roberts, his brothers-in-law and  sisters-in-law, Billy Joe Cook (Priscilla Ross), Anita Dorion, Mavis (Roderick) McLeod and Charlotte Bird,  his godson, Trent Charles, his godmother, Tammy Cook-Searson, his aunts and uncles, Darrell (Cheryl), Derek (Geraldine), Layton (Bella), Patrick (Ursula), Andrew (Lena), Edward (Cora), Patricia, Jeannie (Brian), Jackie (Shelley), Bella (Allan), Leona (Stephen), Jason (Jennie), Myles (Heather), David (Mary) and Maggie, and his special nephew, Leland Roberts, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Louisa Torrence and Benjamin and Mary Ann McKenzie his father-in-law, Stan Cook (Mary Ann Bird), his cousin, Lindsay Bear, and his godparents, Ronnie Roberts Sr. and Allan Charles. A wake service will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the home of Isiah and Grace Roberts, and continuing at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK. Perry’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer and Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating.
