Elaine June (Aalbers) McCloy
 

Elaine June McCloy passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert on April 19, 2016. Elaine was born in Prince Albert on June 24, 1958. She attended high school in Prince Albert. Elaine had one son Jason and met Fred Wintringham, her life-long partner in 1988, of whom she resided with until her passing. Spending time with family and her partner was always important to Elaine. She enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flower gardens, feeding and watching the birds in her yard, as well as holding garage sales. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Treen and Albert Aalbers; her infant grandson Carson McCloy; sister-in-law Linda Aalbers and numerous aunts and uncles. Elaine is survived by her partner Fred Wintringham; son Jason (Carrie) McCloy; three grandsons Brayden, Ryley and Grayson McCloy; her brothers Gary, Ray (Cec) and Roger (Marlene) Aalbers and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm at Colleston Cemetery on Saturday April 30, 2016 with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating, a Come and Go Celebration of Elaine’s Life will follow at 3:00pm- 4:30pm at the Pioneer Log House, Exhibition Grounds, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Elaine’s memory may be directed to the Colleston Church Fund. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre and ICU Unit of the Victoria Hospital of Prince Albert for their support.
