Betsy Harriet Clarke was born on Tuesday, February 27, 1940, and passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 76 years. Betsy is survived by her loving family, her husband, George J. Clarke, her children, Allan (Sharon), Georgina (Frankie), Raymond (Gail), Darwin (Belinda), Robert (Joyce), Jerry (Belinda), Clifford (Laura), Obert (Beatrice), Russell (Darlene), Rosie Clarke, 47 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, her sisters, Caroline Charles, Georgina Charles, Nancy Charles, Elizabeth (Roland) Bell, her brothers, Hector Charles, John Charles, Henry (Hilda) Charles, Allan Charles, Henry McKenzie, her special sisters-in-law, Hilma Clarke and Shirley OIson, her best friend, Sylvia M. Clarke, and her special nurses, Maureen Johnston and Frieda Olson. She was predeceased by her mother and step-father, Nora and William Charles, her grandparents, Sarah McKenzie and Abel Charles, her special aunt, Rosie McKenzie, her special uncle, Albert McKenzie, her special niece, Rosie Charles, her sisters and brothers, Sarah Charles, Anthony Charles, Philip Charles, Irene Charles and Stanley Charles, her best friends, Helen Crow Charles, Good Florence, Ernest Ballantyne and Alf Olson, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Charlotte, her brothers-in-law, Tommy Clarke and Norvil Clarke, her sister-in-law, Annie Clarke, and her special niece, Rose Charles. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, Reindeer Lake School, Southend, SK, and Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Betsy’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the La Ronge Catholic Church, Bishop Adam Halkett officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
