Adam Simeon Merasty, ‘Adamis’, age 44 years, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2016 in  Saskatoon , SK.  Adam was born  Sunday, August 8, 1971, in Lynn Lake, MB.  A Prayer Service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Wake services were held Saturday, June 4 at Audrey and Harold’s former home, and Sunday, June 5 at Wapanacak School.  His Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 6 from St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church, Pelican Narrows, SK, with Celebrant Father Joseph officiating.  Adam is survived by his loving family: his wife Marilyn Merasty; his son Michael Merasty (Patricia); his daughters Angela Merasty (Lanny), Ann Marie Dorion (Nayton); his grandchildren Amelia Dorion, Nayton Jr.; his parents Adam and Lucy Merasty; his siblings Norma (Devin) Michel, Cathy (Rob) Hansen, Wayne (Veronique)  Merasty, Wendy (Martin) Merasty, Tamara  Ninine (Rocky Morin); his in-laws Gabe and Cecelia Dorion; his sisters and brothers-in-law Angela (Ernest) Ballantyne, Mary Jane Michel, Gabe Dorion Jr., Tyson Dorion, Karrie Rose Dorion (James); his aunties and uncles  Roderick Merasty, Raymond Merasty (Theresa), Harvey Merasty (Maggie-Ann), Norville Merasty, Sydney (Vicki) Merasty, Harry Merasty (Seonaid), Pierre (Angela) Merasty, Freda Bighetty, Verna Halkett, Emily Farrow, Abraham Samuel (Elizabeth), Carrie Linklater, Jonas Sha’oulle (Mary), Gilbert Sha’oulle (Lena), Veronica Joseyounen, Margaret (Emil) Dzeylion, Bernadette Danttouze, Martha Linklater, Gladys Michel, Maurice Dorion, Suzette Sewap, Linda Morin; his nieces Erin Ballantyne and family, Alysia Ballantyne, Harmony Ballantyne; his adopted parents Gilbert and Eva Dorion; his adopted niece Brianna Sewap; his adopted nephew Aaron Gregory Merasty; his friends Trent Dorion, Jared Linklater, Dwayne Linklater, Ovide Michel, Hank Dorion, Jack Custer, Kyle McCallum, Beatrice Linklater, Simeon Ballantyne, Wilson G. Michel, Baptiste Linklater, Baptiste Cook, John Dorion, Nick & Ann Michel.  He was predeceased by: his grandparents Joe & Catherine Merasty, Eldzina & Alphonse Sha’oulle; his cousins Andrew Merasty Jr, Abraham Samuel Jr., Leonard Merasty, Richard Merasty, Gertie Merasty, Napoleon Merasty, Andrew Merasty, Rosalie Merasty, Mom’s brothers-in-law -Sandy Danttouze & Peter St. Pierre; his nephews Jade Aaron Lee Merasty, Keifer Linklater.  Interment took place in Moise Bear Memorial Gardens, Pelican Narrows, SK.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Paula Hanson, Funeral Director.
