Cherish Kimberly Ann Custer was born on Friday, January 23, 2009, in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016, in Pelican Narrows, SK, at the age of 7 years. Cherish is survived by her loving family, her parents, Mark & Lisa Custer, her godparents, Wanda Custer, Jackie Sewap & Dennis Ballantyne, her grandparents, Julianne Custer, Joyce Ballantyne, George Custer, Richard & Linda Highway, Larry & Sandra Sewap, as well as many other kimosōms and kōhkoms, her chāpāns, Sophie Custer, Harriet Ballantyne, Madeline Custer, Veronica Ballantyne, Fred & Margaret Ballantyne, her aunties and uncles, Dawn, Wanda, Cheryl, Angel, Tiffanie, Janet, Andrea, Holly, Lester, Stanley, Duncan, Spencer, as well as many other aunties and uncles, and her brothers and sisters, Ayson, Jean, Cheryl, JR, Jason, Taralyn, Francine, Daniel, Isaac, Canon, Erin, Ivana, Tanika, Chavanna, Camille, Alysia, Sky, Alyse, Tyler, Scarlett, Chloe, Ellie, Susie, as well as numerous other brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her uncles, Christopher, Stanley, Lester, Wayne & Harry Custer, her aunties, Kimberly Custer, Lynette Linklater & Camillia Ballantyne, her cousins, Paris, Avrin, Kristie, Madison, Hart, Michael, and her chāpāns, Andrew C. Custer, Henry Custer, Eli Custer, Susan Custer, Louie Custer, Solomon Custer, Steve Ballantyne, Stanley Ballantyne Sr., Rod Morin. A wake service will be held for Cherish at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016, at River Park Memorial Chapel in Prince Albert, SK, then continued on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the home of Mark & Lisa Custer in Pelican Narrows, SK, then continued on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Wapanacak School in Pelican Narrows, SK, then continued at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the home of Larry & Sandra Sewap in Pelican Narrows, SK. Cherish’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Reverend Canon Angus Sewap officiating. Interment to follow at the Pelican Narrows Island Cemetery in Pelican Narrows, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, 306-764-2727, Colette Harnett, Funeral Director.
