December 3, 1928 – June 24, 2016

Dorothy Willness was born on December 3, 1928 in Avonlea, SK.  She passed away peacefully on June 24, 2016 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 87.  She will be lovingly remembered by her 4 children: Sandra (Dale) Munro of Prince Albert, SK, Terry (Shona) Willness of Smeaton, SK, Rick (Doreen) Willness of Smeaton, SK, Maxine (Kent) Pihrag of Spruce Grove, AB; her 16 grandchildren; her 31 great grandchildren; her brother-in-law Jim Clark of Avonlea, her sister-in-law Sylvia Willness of Westlock AB; as well as many nieces, nephews and many friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Duaine in 2006; her son Dallas in 1957; her parents Sylvia (1932) and John (1972); her brother Alan Hill in 1927; her sister Artiss Clarke in 2000; her brother Walter Hill in 2001; her sister-in-law Helen Hill in 2005; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Blanch (1976) and Jack Willness (1989); her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Mabel Willness and her brother-in-law Warner Willness.  Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the farm of Alex and Isabelle Howden, Smeaton, SK (2 miles South and 1 mile West of Smeaton corner).  In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Smeaton Rec.
